Harford County 4-H Conference & Retreat Center
Upper Camp

The fully-accessible Diamond Clover camp fire circle offers ample tiered bench seating for 170 people. With a large area for skits and warning track around the fire pit, groups will enjoy their time communing with nature and their peers. Located in the upper camp in a meadow between the girls' and boys dorms', returning to the dorms at night after the campfires is safe and easy. This unique facility offering has even served as a tranquil site for a wedding ceremony.

The Craft Barn, located beside Highland Hill overflow dorm once served as the girl's dormitory. It now offers a large open and relaxed setting for activities ranging from instructional lessons to arts and crafts or vocal training. A large open porch on the back provides an awesome view of the lower camp. This building is handicap-accessible and includes the camp's ACA-approved nurse's station. A washer and dryer plus restroom facilities are located in the Craft Barn.

The nurse's station offers locking cabinetry, a private refrigerator for medications, separated cots for two people and a full handicap-accessible restroom and shower.

Rentals of both of these venues are offered in combination with other camp facilities.

Exterior renovations are being made to this building over the winter of 2010 to replace the window covers and also cover some grafitti on the back porch.
